Colder the better! Once the trees go dormant for the winter they are much more likely to last through Christmas. If you get your tree early, while it is still warm, you must use extra caution in caring for your tree to make it last.
As soon as you cut a tree, it will begin to die. There is nothing that we can do about this. Please use your best judgement so your tree will be fresh for Christmas. We can not replace trees that are not cared for properly.
Sunshine Valley Tree Farm was first planted in 1975, it has been in the family ever since. Each year we do our best to maintain the farm in the healthiest manner, as well as improve the quality of the tree shopper's experience.
We plant new trees every year and have experimented with many different varieties. We do not use any pesticides or herbicides on the trees and maintain local species of trees and vegetation to help provide various wildlife a natural and safe habitat year-round.
